Engagement Organizer

The Berks County Democratic Committee is looking for Engagement Organizers (2 positions) to lead grassroots engagement efforts in key communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Organizing: Develop neighborhood teams to sustain year-round voter engagement.

• Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and support a network of volunteers.

• Event Planning: Organize community events, voter registration drives, and educational workshops.

• Constituency Outreach: Focus on engaging Latino communities through culturally relevant outreach and relationship-building.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 cycle of campaign or community organizing experience.

• Bilingual (Spanish) candidates strongly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Pennsylvania’s political landscape and community dynamics.

Salary: $50,000+ commensurate with experience, negotiable
